China's rapid economic transition has led to a high demand for accessible and efficient healthcare services. This study explores the factors influencing outbound medical tourism among citizens of mainland China. Using a qualitative thematic analysis method, data was collected through in-depth interviews with 10 informants. The research identified seven themes, which were categorized into two primary dimensions: Quality of Medical Service and Convenience. The study contributes to the growing body of medical tourism literature and provides practical insights for international healthcare providers looking to attract the Chinese market.
