The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship and impact of Emotional Self Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management on job performance among expatriates. A quantitative survey was conducted with 301 expatriates in the Malaysian ICT Sector. The findings revealed that all four dimensions of Emotional Intelligence (EI) have a significant relationship with expatriate performance. Notably, Relationship Management was found to have the highest impact. The study suggests that EI should be a key consideration in expatriate selection, training, and support practices to ensure successful international assignments.
