Mobile payment adoption is still evolving in Malaysia and has yet to be fully recognized by the majority of the population. This study examines the factors influencing the acceptance of mobile payments among higher education students in Klang Valley, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a framework. The research focuses on three specific factors: personal innovativeness, perceived compatibility, and facilitating conditions. Primary data was collected from 104 valid respondents and analyzed using SPSS for reliability, normality, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that perceived compatibility has a positive significant influence on acceptance. However, personal innovativeness and facilitating conditions were found to have no significant influence on the intention to accept mobile payments in this specific demographic.
