This study analyzes the critical factors influencing employee retention within the Malaysian pharmaceutical industry. As the industry faces a promising future, understanding how to keep top talent is vital for the survival and health of these organizations. The research identifies and explores four primary factors: compensation, leadership, training and development, and work environment. By summarizing existing literature and underpinning theories, the study provides a framework for pharmaceutical companies in Malaysia to take proactive measures in retaining their best employees and maintaining a competitive edge in a specialized market.
