This study investigates the determinants of organisational stress among educators in the higher education sector of Brunei Darussalam. As stress levels among teachers continue to rise, this research explores three critical factors: Work Environment, Family-Work Interaction, and Professional and Competence Development. Using a quantitative research design, data was collected from a sample of 198 higher education teachers in Brunei. The data was analyzed using SPSS. The findings reveal that all three independent variables—work environment, family-work interaction, and professional development—have a significant relationship with organisational stress. These results align with prior research, highlighting the need for institutional support in these specific areas to mitigate educator burnout.
