Factors influencing motivation among academic staffs in private universities in Oman
Downloads
This study investigates the impact of workload and reward as predictors of motivation among academic staff in private universities in Oman. Using a quantitative approach, 150 self-administered survey questionnaires were distributed, resulting in 100 valid responses (a 75% success rate based on the initial target). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, correlation, and one-way ANOVA via SPSS. The findings indicate that while both factors were examined, reward has the most significant relationship with academic motivation in the Omani higher education context.
